Shanghai Matsuo supplied approximately 19,200 tonnes of structural steel, representing more than 40% of the bridge\u2019s total steel structure volume, with a contract value exceeding USD 40 million.<\/p>\n<p>The project marked Shanghai Matsuo\u2019s first major bridge project in cooperation with IHI and an important breakthrough into large-scale bridge fabrication. A key technical challenge involved welding 6 mm ultra-thin U-ribs to the bridge deck, requiring weld penetration of at least 75% of the plate thickness without burn-through.<\/p>\n<p>To meet these requirements, Shanghai Matsuo independently developed two sets of dedicated automatic welding equipment and successfully completed fabrication, precision processing and full pre-assembly under the leadership of its China-based team.<\/p>\n<p>The successful delivery of the project strengthened Shanghai Matsuo\u2019s bridge fabrication capabilities and laid a solid foundation for continued cooperation with IHI on large-scale international bridge projects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-289","case","type-case","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.matsuo.com.cn\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/case\/289","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.matsuo.com.cn\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/case"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.matsuo.com.cn\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/case"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.matsuo.com.cn\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=289"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
