The Lünen Power Plant is a 750 MW high-efficiency hard-coal-fired power plant in Germany. Shanghai Matsuo was responsible for the fabrication and supply of the approximately 100-metre-high boiler supporting steel structure, with a total steel tonnage of around 5,600 tonnes.

The project was executed in accordance with applicable European standards and required strict control of fabrication accuracy, welding quality and overall quality management. Its successful delivery became an important milestone for Shanghai Matsuo in the European power and energy market and demonstrated our capability to support large-scale international energy projects.
